Xerox Phaser 6125 – Review

The Xerox Phaser 6125 is a color laser printer well suited for a medium sized office or business that needs a compact color laser printer that can handle large print jobs and print at high speeds without making you sacrifice on quality. The Xerox Phaser 6125 has a monthly duty cycle of up to 40,000 pages per month, making it capable of printing even large jobs. Measuring only 15.75 inches wide, 17.5 inches deep, and 15.3 inches high, the Xerox Phaser 6125 can easily fit into any office or workspace and still provide you with excellent quality and speed.

This printer connects via a standard high speed USB cable that can be purchased from most office supply or computer supply stores or online retailers. This cable should be purchased separately. For networking, the Xerox Phaser 6125 uses a 10/100 Base-T Ethernet connection. Wireless connectivity is not available. The Xerox Phaser 6125 is compatible with most major operating systems, including Windows 2000/2003, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Mac OS X 10.3 and higher.

The Xerox Phaser 6125 utilizes four Xerox Phaser 6125 toner cartridges in black, magenta, yellow and cyan. This printer ships with four Xerox toner cartridges installed, and each of these toner cartridges is capable of printing 500 sheets. For the user who needs a higher toner capacity from their toner cartridges, higher capacity cartridges are available. These higher capacity cartridges are capable of printing 2000 pages for the black toner cartridges, and 1000 pages for the cyan, magenta, and yellow. The Xerox Phaser 6125 has a standard paper capacity of 251 sheets, divided between a 250 sheet tray, and a single sheet multipurpose tray. This page capacity cannot be upgraded.

The Xerox Phaser 6125 prints at a speed of 12 pages per minute when printing in full color and 16 pages per minute when printing in black and white. The first page out time for the Xerox Phaser 6125 is a super fast 17 seconds for color and 14 seconds for black and white, making it easy for you to get your prints started quickly and finish them just as fast so you can spend more time working and less time waiting. The Xerox Phaser 6125 is powered by a 333 MHz processor that easily converts your files to printed pages. The Xerox Phaser 6125 ships with 64 MB of memory. This memory is not upgradable. This printer prints at a maximum resolution of 600 dpi by 600 dpi. The Xerox Phaser 6125 is Energy Star qualified.
